I have an Emergency with my Pet…What Should I Do?

Emergencies will happen and can’t be planned for. However, there are certain things you should look at and take into consideration:

• if you have an emergency call ahead.
• if your vet doesn’t provide emergency / after-hours services make sure you know who they recommend for this if you need it
• don’t expect a diagnosis over the phone.
• don’t forget your leash or carrier

How do I prevent an emergency?

• learn what’s needed for your pet. Don’t wait for your pet to be sick to call the vet.
• schedule regular preventative visits to prevent illness
• communicate your concerns with your Vet when you see them
